Any opacity of crystalline lens is called cataract. However when it is dense enough to disturb vision it becomes Clinically significant. As density of cataract increases, sensitivity to glare increases ,it becomes difficult to drive, read or even recognize faces. A cataract can seriously impair  quality of your life.
